The Return to Routine Oral Healthcare

Becoming unwell with blood cancer and then undergoing treatment for it brings specific problems for oral health.  During this period there may be times when oral healthcare has been low on the list of priorities of what needs to be done.  As the period of active treatment for the blood cancer ends and there is a return to a more normal way of life, it is important to receive routine oral healthcare with a dentist.  A check-up will allow identification of oral health treatment needs and the options for how these can be addressed.
