Occupational Therapists look at your ability to carry out everyday tasks which are important to you and relevant to your lifestyle.
You may benefit from Occupational Therapy to maximise your independence in daily tasks following a change in abilities as a result of your medical condition or bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
Further information is provided in our booklet ‘What is OT’ and a link is provided at the bottom of this page.
If the need for an Occupational Therapy assessment is identified by your clinical team they will make a referral to our service with your consent. Our service is available for patients in hospital and we are based in Bexley Wing at St James’s Hospital, Leeds.
